Back-order – невыполненный [задержанный] заказ (заказ, который из—за отсутствия товара у продавца, не может быть выполнен в данный момент, но может быть выполнен позже; выполнение заказа задерживается, если клиент согласен подождать).
Договариваясь с иностранным поставщиком о поставках, вы можете услышать такую фразу:
« When you place an order and some items are not in stock, we put them on back-order for you ».
В переводе это означает:
« Когда вы делаете заказ, и некоторых наименований в наличие нет, мы записываем их в качестве задержанного заказа для вас ».
Запрос неотгруженного заказа (back-order) делается с той целью, чтоб понимать, какие позиции и когда поставщик планирует доотгрузить из заказов сделанных ранее. Задача менеджера по закупкам на момент создания нового заказа – обновить актуальную информацию о товарах, которые находятся в различных местах цепочки поставок. Обычно учетная система компании содержит в себе информацию о товаре, который уже попал в поле зрения системы после отгрузки товара поставщиком (товар находится в пути или на складах компании). Но если нет обмена данными с базой поставщика (и скорее всего его нет, так как обычно поставщики не внедряют одинаковые типичные решения и у всех учет может иметь свои нюансы и возможности), то вам необходимо запросить back-order.
Учитывая неотгруженные ранее поставщиком товарные позиции (SKU), вы избегаете их повторного заказа и дублирования.
Еще стоит заметить, что не все поставщики работают с системой back-order. Эту информацию изначально стоит выяснять при начале работы с каждым поставщиком. Если поставщик не поддерживает функцию неотгруженных заказов, тогда попросту данный этап будет отсутствовать в работе с конкретным поставщиком. Если поставщик не поддерживает работу с back-order, то это означает, что после размещения заказа поставщику вам будет отгружен тот товар, который имеется в наличии. А товарные позиции, которые отсутствовали на складе поставщика на момент получения заказа, попросту будут аннулированы.
