(The steps in this guide may not work as the game has changed quite a bit since I wrote this guide and I haven’t had any issues since I last played the game. The steps in this guide might still work but I have no interest to check or update the guide. Besides, I think this issue was mostly patched out. I’ve left the guide up in case you still want to try any of the steps.)
Recently some maps were giving me a «AI Disabled» message to the right of my screen. Annoying enough as it is, NPCs stopped working. I’ve managed to fix the problem by playing around with the developer console and these might just work for you. These steps may work in other Source games but I can’t guarantee they will.
First things first, if you don’t have your console enabled, you’ll need to enable it. On the main menu, click options and go to the keyboard tab. Then click the advanced button at the bottom of the window and check «enable developer console». Check it is working by pressing the ‘`’ key on your keyboard. If nothing appears make sure the key is binded correctly or try bind it to another key.
If you are still getting the «AI Disabled» message try reinstalling Black Mesa. Before you do backup your save data by doing the following:
1. Go to where Black Mesa is installed. If you haven’t changed any of the default locations, it will most likely be in the following:
Windows: «C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Black Mesa» or «C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Black Mesa» if you’re using a 32 bit system.
Linux: Use a file browser or terminal and go to: «
‘ is short for «/home/YourUsername/». I don’t have Steam installed on any of my Linux installs, so let me know if this is incorrect.
2. Go to the «bms» folder, find the folder that is called «save» and move it to somewhere such as your desktop.
3. Find a file called «gamestate.txt» and move this to the same location.
4. Remove Black Mesa by right clicking on its tab in steam, then clicking «Uninstall».
5. Now reinstall Black Mesa and when it’s done move both of the files back to the new Black Mesa installation.
Tip: (Please note this way of backing up saves isn’t always realiable.) If you don’t want to go thorugh the process of moving your save files, Steam Cloud is also an option. Right click on Black Mesa then choose «Properties». Click on the «Updates» tab then make sure that «Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for Black Mesa» is checked. You may need to start your game and create a new save for your current saves to sync correctly. To check if they have synced correctly, look under the «Steam Cloud» section of the updates tab. If the size is not something along the lines of «0.00B stored / (X) avaliable», you should be good to go. Don’t forget to enable synchronization once you install the game again, so you can get your saves.
If the AI is still disabled after doing this, try steps 2 and 3 again as your save file might still have the commands such as «ai_disable 1» stored.
If none of the above steps worked, it’s most likely a bug in the game (or custom map) the developers can fix. If it’s a custom map, tell the creator about the problem. If it’s in Black Mesa itself, contact the developers on their forum page or their Twitter account. You can access them here:
Make sure to give them as much info as you can, for example, when the problem started to happen and the hardware you’re running the game on. This would include things such as your graphics card.

все дело в том что в конфиге на f6 забиндено сразу два действия, а именно ai_disable 1 и быстрое сохранение! Открываете entity.cfg и стираете етот дурацкий бинд

Создаете файл под названием autoexec.cfg. Содержание файла:
sv_unlockedchapters «15»
sv_cheats «1»
con_enable «1»
ai_norebuildgraph «1»
ai_disable «0»
Пишите созданный файл в директорию «CFG», которая находится соответственно в директории «HL2»
И все. Кроме того, откроются и все части игры.

Что конкретно сделал, можно узнать? У меня все сработало с atoexec.cfg. Кстати, на той странице, что указал Jazz (спасибо ему), тоже есть фикс с autoexec.cfg. Мож, не туда записал файлик?

Дело в том, что этот файл лежит кое-где для скачивания, причем их там два вида и инструкция на английском, какой когда применять. Я подумал, чем писать полную инструкцию где скачать (а ссылу еще и удалить админы могут), какой файл выбрать и т.д., дам-ка лучше его содержимое и все тут.

Нет, с конфигом все прекрасно работает. Больше проблем не было замечено.
Похоже, проблема у пираток в команде ai_norebuildgraph «1».

Этот autoexec.cfg был как раз для этого. Его нужно было сунуть в директорию cfg из папки hl2. Есть вариант, что нужен был autoexec.cfg для Европы, он такого содержания:

Впрочем, ты ведь уже справился с этим траблом иным способом, так что осталось одно голое любопытство, почему у тебя не сработал мой вариантик.

Какими именно скриптами? Теоретически нет. И даже если наступать на триггер с запуском скрипта с откл. ai, сохранить игру, а потом загрузиться, то не поможет и вкл. пресловутого ai. Поможет только загрузка с более раннего места.

FulLGore: Надеюсь топик до конца дочитал? Чтобы проблему с node устранить нужно либо взять архив с того же сайта (на 6 странице если не ошибаюсь), либо самому в папке hl2\map\graph поменять дату модификации файлов, например на 2010 год (неважно как, самый банальный способ переставить системное время и открыть и сохранить файлы без изменений, потом вернуть время назад). Ну и обязательно удалить старые сейвы.
Так что осталось решить прооблему с не убирающимися хинтами на HUD (иногда проскакивают такие фишки), от чего они накладываются друг на друга и можно сказать, что безглючная версия готова

Дело было так: Алекса ведет меня к автомату по продаже водичку, покупает оную, после чего приглашает зайти в лабораторию на встречу с папашей-доком, Захожу, тот орет чего-то про сбежавшую живность, потом затихает, стоит тупо глазами зырит, на меня ноль внимания, ничего не открывается, более того- обратно тоже не выйти, Алекса исчезла. Это че- так надо или скрипт не работает?

А лечить-то как?Я почти все перепробовал.

Дык в какую папку фиксы кидать в главную bin или в hl2/bin.
Скачал в главную HUD исправился а баба замороженая у лифта все равно не ьшевелится, сволочь этакая
ura27 проще было просто дату поменять на 16 число, пройти и вернуть дату обратно 
2 FulLGore и всем, кто столкнулся с этим.
Скопировал всё туда, куда написано с заменой файлов.
Но остались 2 баги:
-Graphics Rebuild в начале каждого уровня всё равно есть (хотя с AI проблем вроде пока не было).
-Когда открываем окно загрузки сейва, появляется список сейвов со скриншотами, но они никак не сортированы по дате и дата/время отображаются нулями.
Как это исправить? Может еще какие-то фиксы нужны?
rimer Для исправления ВСЕХ багов достаточно скачать HL2.HUD.FIX-edministrator.rar и все.
Сходи в «распределение памяти» на этом форуме. Я там дал ссылку на FIX решающий абсолютно все проблемы (и ai disabled и взаимодействие с персонажами и со звуком и прочих заморочек)
ну что все проблемы это ты загнул. проблему залипания девиц у лифтов он к сожалению не решает.

Скажите, а на лицензионных версиях теже самые глюки? Неужели по всему миру люди переписывают конфиги, ставят патчи меняют системное время, только чтобы поиграть? Я в шоке.
Такая трабла: играл, играл, и неожидано игра вывалилась с надписью типа «не найден какой-то Steam-файл для проболжения игры. »

Ты про скрин с ЖЫ-меном? Если да, то это было после того, как первый раз мочишь вертолет на путыре со скалами, с помощью катера. А после идешь наверх, где ОН(жопа-мен) будет тебя разглядывать, открываешь плотину и прыгаешь вниз. Кстати сразу после, будет «Блек Меза».
Xhar Конечно нет! С лицензией все отлично, это пираты все не так поломли, вот и траблы.
У меня сейвы в игре исчезли, остались почему то те которые проходил пару дней назад. Какбороться с этой бедой?
У меня как на лицензии так и на пиратке проблем не было.
Запускаю с ключами: -toggle console (чтобы фон в меню был анимированным(карты background***)), -steam, ну и -game hl2 т.к. пиратка пока-что.
сэйвы пропали так как сэйвов ограниченное колличество. Но вот почему удалились новые незнаю. Может из-за перевода часов
И вообще ai_disable не требует параметров!

Nothing like that. You open notepad, type that, then go to file and then save as. You need to save it as «all files».

No, it supposed to appear as a cfg file.
Forgot to mention, you need to rename the file. Just type fix.cfg and it should work just fine.

Thank you, dude! 🙂 You just made me VERY happy! 😀 Also found out by myself, that for the HL2 update, you can just make a cfg folder(because the update version of M mod doesn’t have one) and put the file there, followed by setting launch options, etc. which will work too. Thanks again for your help. I will mark you as the answer. 🙂

I restarted the chapter where AI disabled happened and that fixed it.
More info that may or may not be helpful to you.
It appears that there are more reports of this since the patch.
I started a new game with the new patch.
I got a «Node Graph out of date, rebuilding» error so I thought i would verify my game cache, after verifying my game cache AI disabled showed up on my screen.
Typing in the console ai_disable 0 did nothing.
My system.
Clean install of Windows 7
Black Mesa no mods or tweaks
HP Pavilion G series laptop
CPU A6-3220M APU
The node graph error is a known issue. It should not affect the game at all other than that message when the level loads. Our source control is not seeing that we change the node graphs so it does not update them with the BSP :/
Old saves are a big problem in the Source engine. You can restart the chapter OR you might be able to type «reload» in console to restart the map to fix the AI disable problem.
