install4j’s multiplatform installer has been working great for years. Now out of the blue we are getting an error popup dialog that The installation file is corrupted. If it is a download please try again. It has installed about 19MB of 164MB and the last file it didn’t write was a small jar that has been in the build for some time now.
We get this error when running the full installer right after it is built as a test. We are also building several ‘companion’ applications with all the same files just different start up options and its installer run fine.
We are using install4j in batch mode: install4j version: 5.0.8 (build 5311)
After downloading the demo of Euro truck simulator, i installed the setup and when i tried to play the game, it said » Corrupted installation. Re-install from original CD» But its just a demo that i downloaded from the official site of SCS software. I got the same message when i tried to play 18 wheels of steel demo. I want to play these truck simulation games. I have tried every compatibility setting, ran it as an Administrator, in every resolution, but all in vain. PLEASE HELP. I’ll be really thankful if somebody could help me.

the issue is not your pc but the data is corupted from the download so the sight your downloading it from has a corupted file contact the sight through costumer support and report that the data is corupted

On ValuSoft 18 Wheels of Steel desktop shortcut right click>properties>compatibility> check run this program in compatibility mode for windows xp (service pack 3),
Toggle along with other windows version
Check to see if it works

If you just want to listen to your own music while you play the game go to the menu of your game then go to options/ sound options what ever. Then try and turn the music volume down, or off.
If you want to add your music to the game, I am not shure but I think it may be illegal.

Дата и время вводятся в определенном формате: [mm]dd]HH]MM[[cc]yy]. Расшифровывается это так: Месяц Число Часы Минуты Секунды Год, введенные без пробелов и, обязательно, в такой последовательности.
К примеру, если нужно установить дату и время на 24 октября 2015 года 18 часов 25 минуты, то команда будет выглядеть так:
Смысл в том, чтобы выставить дату, позже выпуска вашего дистрибутива, но раньше выпуска следующего обновления. Экспериментируйте!
После этого закрываем «Терминал» и начинаем процесс установки.

Corrupted installation. Please reinstall the game.
Downloaded the game 5 times now.
The first 3 times in german and the last two in english.
Every time i start it after the download it says «Corrupted installation. Please reinstall the game.».
Proposed solution
I was able to correct this by uploading my Graphic Card pilote. Go on the vendor site and install the last pilot of your graphic card. It worked for me.

Does your GPU support directx 11? I think it is required to run this game.
Hello, your graphics card needs to be able to support DirectX 11 including Shader Model 5 completely.

My CPU is an IntelCore i3 2328M @2.20Ghz, with 8Gb of RAM.
I never had drivers issues with the previous TrackMania games, even if I had to use low setttings to run the game.
Corrupted game.
So when i launch the game it says coorrupted installation. Please reinstall the game. I reinstalled it 2 times and still nothing. Any suggestions how to fix it?

This is the result of the extension modifying the index file, it injects necessary CSS (safely I assure you) so the editor recognizes that it has been compromised. This will not effect the functionality of the editor outside of the scope of the extension.
I will add a notice to the README file explaining this.
For now, the best thing you can do is click the cog on that notification, and click «Don’t show again».
I’m not sure if «Don’t show again» is exactly what it says. Could you please let me know what it actually is?

In my case the html files modified automatically,every time I open the html files,there are a big amount of data add automatically.Is this for any extension I installed?

All right so apparently to stop this you need to «Disable» smooth scroll with the extension installed and then uninstall the extension. @spikespaz if possible please add this also to the README

@aniforprez I agree that it should be in the README. This extension is deprecated anyway (because its primary feature was mercilessly cored) unless you wish to fine-tune the animation (which isn’t available in the built-in settings).
If the issue was the appended [Unsupported] in the titlebar, you could have used my fork of an extension that fixes this issue. There’s a VSIX file in the root of that repository.
But alas this extension is (mostly) pointless now. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@angelhdz The corruption message shows that VS Code is corrupted because this extension changes core files of the editor. A reinstall button wouldn’t help no matter what it re-installs, the extension isn’t broken in the first place, and reinstalling VSC would undo changes made by SmoothType.
Please use the new editor.cursorSmoothCaretAnimation option in your user settings; the primary and only feature of this extension has been cored. The only thing that VSC cannot do is change the animation duration, this extension can.
If this is why you require the extension, my only further advice is to use the solutions already given for solving this problem (namely my fork of another extension).
If you do not require customization of the animation duration, uninstall the extension and use the setting built into VSC.
