I suggested that the buyer contact her Post Office, but the tone of her letter does not bode well for me. What should I do now and what can I hope for?

Also, is the customer live in an apartment or university? i.e, a place where the mail is delivered to a central place and then distributed? That status (according to a Google search, could mean just that).

ok, I see now you’re located in Russia, as the poster below stated, «delivered to agent» may mean it in US customs. Just let your customer know that you’re monitoring the status and it still appears in transit and it’s too early to consider it lost.

The post office is in Indianopolis, and the customer in Linton it is 80 miles. Small packages go through customs at NY, none of my buyers have ever been asked to pay customs duties. I’m at a loss, it happened for the first time and the buyer is tuned for a refund.

Delivered to agent is not the same as delivered (tendered) to agent for final delivery. This is a University that accepted the delivery. It is considered delivered at this point. You do not owe a refund. It is up to the University to deliver to their «tenants». Your buyer needs to contact the mail room of her University.

Indianapolis 46241 is the Post Office near the airport, and Linton 47441 is a small town 80 miles to the Southwest. I do not see the University there.

The buyer writes me the same thing: » USPS stated the shipping label on my order was Indianapolis Indiana. Our address is Linton Indiana», «The postal service claims that the shipping label stated, Indianapolis, Indiana.»

How Long Will It Take for the Agent to Deliver My Package?

Trying to figure out exactly how long it’s going to take for authorized agents to deliver your package into your hands is next to impossible, again because there are so many different kinds of authorized agents out there.

In the event of a “standard” delivery to authorized agents at your home, for example, you’ll be able to expect your package to be sitting there on your kitchen counter or dining room table when you get home.
