После обновления ОС Win 7 при запуске МАХа стало появляться окошко с ошибкой:
error parsing xaml file: root element missing
После нажатия на ОК вылазит второе окошко:
The main Ribbon configuration file is possibly corrupt. Rest to factory default? Yes/No
После чего МАХ стартуем в обычном режиме, но с отсутствием одной ленты.
Всё. Ошибка исправлена. МАХ работает в прежнем режиме с отображением всех лент на панели управления.
у меня глюк в вершинах.
такое бывает иногда. перехожу редактировать вершины они исчезают вместо них маленькие точки(((

устранить глюк пока не могу(
и 2 глюк очень поршиво работают привязки Axis Constraints,
врубаешь привязку по 1 оси нифига не работает, как то сама автоматом потом включается.
пока тоже глюк не решил(
Лечится заменой файла с багом.
проблемы с русскими шрифтами в интерфейсе решает
1- запускаем 3dmax
2- потом вкладку( customize)-p.s-она находится на верху
3- в (customize) выбираем ( customize user interface )
4- переходим на вкладку (colors)
5- потом в (scheme) выбираем (use windows theme) и все
в принципе можно поднастроить цвета самого виндовса, если не нравится результат

Первый глюк и у меня на десинге появляется иногда. Нашёл такой способ борьбы: Захожу в настройки и меняю выделеные настройки на 2 и 2, потом нажимаю ОК, опять открываю их и возвращаю назад на 4 и 5 (мне нравятся большие точки) и ОК.
Это скорее временное устранение последствий, чем решение проблемы, но обычно дней 5..8 можно проработать до следующего глюка
Насчёт осей я не совсем понял вопрос, но сам столкнулся с тем, что когда ставиш фиксацию по оси, а затем двигаешь объект за центр СК, то он всё равно передвигается по 3 осям. Как вариант, дополнительно перед перемещением залочить пробелом объект и кликать мышкой не по СК, а по пустому месту (или сетке). Тогда перемещение происходит тока по 1-й оси.

Слева на страничке есть колонка с фильтрами, где можно выбрать версию макса и тип данных. На счет разделения на Design и обычный макс не совсем понятно. Где-то пишеться, что обновление подходит для обоих версий, а где-то они отдельно.
Сервис пак включает все предыдущие хотфиксы и апдейты. Соответсвенно их ставить не нужно. Ставится 1-й сервис пак, потом 2-й и т.д. Потом последний апдейт, если он есть после сервиспака.

ну похоже скрипт не научен переваривать какую-то карту и параметр в вирей материале. Вот и выдает ошибку. Возможно дело в старой версии вирея, возможно под ней не тестировали скрипт. Можете написать куда-нибудь на короновский форум, может поправят скрипт
Народ, подскажите как с таким бороться. Недавно пересел на Intel. Винчестер переставил со старого системника в новый. Программы и систему переустанавливать не пришлось, но при запуске макса начали появляться сообщения о лицензии. Сегодня она закончилась и макс не запустился. Удалил. Переустановил, но при попытке активации опять выпало окно с лицензией, а не как обычно с активацией. Отключил инет, запустил патч, всё прошло успешно, но потом появилось сообщение (см. ниже) И так при каждом запуске макса. Программа не запускается. Какое решение?
