Hello my church website is set up through Joomla and as of yesterday i received this 2 alerts:
i haven’t been able to get in contact with anyone from my web host due to the COVID19 situation. is there a way I can go in and fix this? any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forum!
More information is required. Could any of the people working for the web host have tried to update extensions or the PHP version without consulting with you?
Do you have backups of the website, or is your host responsible for backing it up?
Please post the results from the Forum Post Assistant (FPA) by following the instructions at https://forumpostassistant.github.io/docs/. That information would give an overview of the configuration of the site and the web server.

That would also be my first solution to test, but its very weird that it would happen unless:
A: Something has changed on the server
B: An update when horrible wrong.

How do I eliminate this error message. I have no clue what it is referring to and nothing on site seems to be affected by absence of this «framework»?
It pops up up on numerous things from Akeeba to my login/out form.

I keep getting a «bad request» error on any attempt to install extensions.
Also have recurring error that may or may not be related.
[Joomlashack System Plugin] Alledia framework not found
I looked on their web site and cannot even find a forum or contact form to see what’s up
I don’t even have any of their extensions installed.

Tried multiple times.
Just deletes itself. No output. Latest version downloaded today.

I’m very dissatisfied with this response. Since I installed the JoomlArt template, it has failed to update properly. You have never acknowledged the distinction between your response and my question. My question is: Does not the JoomlArt template have a responsibility to allow for successful updating of its extensions? I still am getting messages that says Plugin JA Content Type is not updating. Therefore, your original assistance simply alerted me to a different issue than I was aware of without ever fixing my original complaint, which now has gotten worse. I now have messages that the Alledia framework that I think came with the template is not updating.
I don’t like customer service that passes the buck so easily when there is an indication its own plugins are not updating and its own template does not function in a straight forward and successful way.
As it is, you give me the understanding that JoomlArt sells templates knowing they do not update properly and you don’t care. It is, it sounds like, the job of the extension provider to make sure they work on your template. But actually, I think it is the other way around. I will now go through the inconvenience of trying to deal with Alledia customer service. But I think this is crap.
You advertise the JA Extension manager as something special. My experience is that it fails to integrate with the general Joomla extension update process and that, without me doing anything other than pressing «update» when the Joomla back end control panel tells me there are extensions to update, the brand new template you sold me sends me error message and warning after error message and warning. This is not a situation in which the customer should be told to go talk to Alledia.
Finally, I am glad not to duplicate posts on the same topic, but the topic I originally posted is marked «ANSWERED,» which makes it extremely unclear to your customers if a further response can be expected when the problem in fact has not been solved, but persists and is getting worse.
