Waiting 2.1.2: Journeymap waypoints erasing sporadically between session.

What is the bug:
This is the second time I have lost all the waypoints that I have set in journeymap. I started up the game from the curse launcher. Connect to my server and found all waypoints had been erased.
First time I had gone into a single player save that was using the same save name and seed as the server. When I reonnected to the server all the waypoints I had set were gone. I am not for sure if they were in the single player save. It showed the server map for a instance then wrote the single player map over it.
This time I disconnected the server. The waypoints were there at this time. Uninstalled Mcaffee Antivirus plus. Then restarted my PC. Edited a libre office spreadsheet. Saved, then closed it. Loaded Curse. Loaded Infinity. Loaded my terraria OST playlist through VLC media player. Connected to my server. Checked for windows updates. Was showing mom how waypoints would help her get back to her base if she were to try playing again. When I noticed I had no waypoints to show her. They were all gone.
Not for sure what caused it. Journeymap has always been spotty when it came to maps, and waypoints. This is the first set of times I have lost all my waypoints and not been sure of the reason though.
Mod & Version:
journeymap-1.7.10-5.1.1rc1-unlimited.jar
Edit 001:
I might know part of the cause. I looked in the journey map data folder. In the mp folder it has my server listed six times. I am not for sure the exact save mechanic for journey as far as differentiating between maps. It is the root of all my issues though. I think it actually decides it by world name or the name of the connection used. So the seed is totally ignored. Which I think is actually the most important part of what makes maps different.
I am thinking now it didn’t erase my maps and waypoints as use a different folder then the one they were saved in. The «server name» that is set by the client for that server may be the only variable used in by jouneymap to label the save folder for the map. not for sure though. The folder names for multiplayer are rather complex it seems.

TECHNICALLY UPDATED TO Dwarven + Farming update.
Still, please use NEU with Forge. Forge is way better than Lunar for Skyblock. Also the lunar waypoint implementation still sucks.
Ok. Some of you may have already seen my post on the new BLC Fairy Soul Waypoints mod profile:
https://hypixel.net/threads/updated. ft-thirtys-profile-fyu-waypoint-list.3237956/
Every time you exit out of Lunar, the client shuffles all the waypoints in the list around. The order is always messed up. I don’t particularly like this implementation. ALSO, there is a bug in the waypoints menu list. When you scroll down too far, you can’t hide or unhide a waypoint.
Tutorial:
1. Download, install, and run Lunar Client once with minecraft. Then make a random waypoint with ‘n’. Close minecraft, and then close the Lunar launcher.
2. Go to:
Windows: «C:\Users\____\.lunarclient\settings\game\»
Mac: «/Users/____/.lunarclient/settings/game/»
4. Launch Lunar and minecraft. Press ‘m’ to see the waypoints.
REI Map > VoxelMap Waypoints missing
I updated from the Mindcrack Pack 8.1 to 8.2 and noticed they changed from REI map to Voxelmap and now all of my waypoints are missing. I had some very important locations saved in those coordinates. Does anybody know how to retrieve them?
Well, the old waypoints are probably not compatible with VoxelMap, so you wouldn’t be able to retrieve them with that alone. I would try reinstalling Rei’s Minimap to get back the old waypoints (which may have been deleted in the update. not sure). Then change the key binds so that the buttons don’t conflict, and go to those spots and replace your Rei waypoints with Voxel ones.
I’m not sure if there’s some easier way to do this, but that’s a solution I could think of.
Rei’s waypoint format is like
To convert this Rei’s waypoint to a Voxel waypoint, you’d get something like this:
I’ve ignored color for now, meaning any waypoints you convert would be black, but presumably that’s not a big deal and you can change that easier in-game. These were all overworld waypoints, but with some messing around you can probably figure out how nether/end/other age waypoints are formatted. Of course, I’d recommend backing up your entire save before editing any files, just to be safe.
Yeah.. Waypoints are gone. Unless servers store them differently. Everytime I upgrade my server, I delete the Mods folder and dump the new files in. Haven’t lost the waypoints till this one.
Edit: FOUND EM!! YAY!! Thank you!
For anyone interested in converting Rei waypoints into Voxel waypoints.
