Out of memory dayz
Начнем пожалуй с ошибки Out of memory.
Out of memory dayz что делать
So ive come back recently to this game happy that persistance was fixed (supposedly) and that there were alot of new aditions to the guns and such.
However my experience is quickly deteriorating not because of the game itself but due to a fact that i now have a recurring bug that completely ruins my experience.
Every so often i get a error which is quite common in the community im guessing Which apoints to «Lack of memory» Bringing up a message saying something along the lines of «Out of memory Footprint «XXXXXXXXXX» Requested «XXXXXXXX» this error seems quite common to most people and ive seen others find a fix for it.
It happens from random spaces of times but its predominant when im a recent spawn, having it appear less frequently the longer im playing through.
Still however it is quite unpleasant even if it only happens within a space of 30 Minutes, as if im in a firefight it Will kill me.
My OS does meet the requirements and nevertheless i didnt have this issue at all before and allways ran the game pretty smoothly.
Id appreciate any help,
Thankfully,
Diego.
Your cpu is under the minimum specs.
Your RAM is under recommended specs.
I recommend you kncrease your pagefile size and order some 8 gigs of ram
Here’s the thing right, even with «Under minimum Specs» it is not a justification,
Its plain simple, if i can run my game at 60 FPS stable on high settings inside some of the biggest cities in the game, there’s no reason why it should «Not run».
At least in my logic?
Under minimum specs is what the devs deem underperforming for the game.
But what is your problem is that you probably have a default 256mb pagefile and are running chrome or something memory intensive on the background. This means that you will eventually hit a point where your (underperforming) cpu has no more room in the pagefile and just return naught for anything that reguests more RAM. In this case: DayZ. I run the game on an I5-3320m and 8 gigs of ram. It doesnt run perfectly, but by turning off anything resource intensive on the background and with a sufficient page file it has never ram into memory issues.
Good rule of thumb with 8 gigs is to have another 8 gigs as a page file. I myself have an uncapped pagefile
Edit: and for the record; minimum and recommended specs are not put there as a joke. They are there to tell you the lines.
Recommended: you will probably run the game well and have no issues
Minimum: you can run the game (nothing more, expect severe issues)
Under minimum: no guarantees on whether you can or cannot run and most likely will encounter a lot of issues
there are 4 of them to get you started, once you have up to 2017 ( again both the x86 and x64 versions for 64 bit ) you should be good to go.
Note: after installing them you should restart your machine and check for updates.
I am guessing that you are missing some of these based upon research of similar problems for other titles / software.
let me know the results but i can’t stress enough about the restarting after installing and checking for updates before trying the game again and you will probably need to go through a few restarts as some of the updates will require it to.
Update Aswell- Turning PostProcessing off actually Degraded my experience in preformance but apparently made the crashing stop?

It is a justification.
If you want to run this game effectively, you need the RECCOMENDED parts.
If you want to BARELY run the game, you need the Minimum parts.
Don’t expect to have great results running a game that you don’t have the system for.

Thank you for explaining some of the stuff i didnt understand, im indeed on the verge of doing a big upgrade to my PC changing everything.
So it will run perfectly very soon, and there is no reason to add more pieces for now, thank you for the comprehension and To Whoever needs to find a fix for this, do as i did, *TURN POST PROCESSING DOWN AND IT FIXES CRASHING*

«Corrupted Memory #X
BattlEye detects that your game’s memory is not what it is supposed to be. Scan your system for viruses/trojans/spyware and check your RAM for possible defects (using tools like Memtest86). If that doesn’t help, the game’s installation on your harddisk is possibly corrupted – therefore, try to reinstall the game.»

I did not. Fresh boot of windows, even after replacing my RAM and hard drive did nothing.
like absolutely fresh install?
No mods, nothing except steam and the game isntalled on the system?

If its that much of a chore, then just return it due to technical difficulties. You could always contact BE for support.
Do you have any third party software open when you launch the game? You might also try to increase the size of your Virtual Memory to the maximum, hoping you have more than 8gb RAM. Was also going to suggest you remove and reinstall Battleye but you have already done that I see.
