Ошибка «The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time» — что делать?
The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time. Please try again later. C
Вот что надо сделать для того, чтобы исправить ошибку «The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time» в App Store и iTunes Store:

I’m having the same issue, mine is on an iPod touch. iOS version 9.3.5, this is the highest I can update it to. I think Apple have stopped signing on this version which means there is little support. But the messaging doesn’t explain the solution well. If the apps in question can’t be updated it should state that. One of the apps is an apple one, Find My Phone.
Feb 12, 2021 2:30 AM
I am experiencing this same issue, also.
All of my older iOS 9/10 devices have been encountering this exact same iTunes/App Store cannot process your payment at this time, try again later issue since, I am going to state, about a week ago, or so, from today!
This message ONLY pops up on my iOS 9 /10 devices.
My newer iOS 12 and iOS/iPadOS 14 devices are all just working fine in all of the Apple app stores.
Feb 12, 2021 2:48 AM
Also ios 9.3.5, ipad2
This problem appeared about a week ago. I can download new apps, but I can’t update.
The old payment method is working. I added a new one, but that didn’t solve the problem.
After update i see message «The itunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time. Please try again later».
As I understand it, there is no solution?

I am also having this issue however I had 14 apps to update. It allowed 4 updates to complete but the last 10 will not. One is even Apple’s own app Find My Phone! Very frustrating! 4 days now and no response from Apple. My payment is good. I’ve rebooted and I’ve signed out & back in to iTunes over a dozen times. Is there no fix?
Feb 13, 2021 7:11 AM
Yes, i can remove app and download again.
But this is an inconvenient way to update app 🙂

I have the same problem; iPad with iOS 9.3.6, cannot update apps, but can download new apps. When I try to update apps, I get the «The iTunes Store is unable to process purchase at this time. » error. Have been getting this error for a few days.
I have gone through the usual troubleshooting steps: restarting iPad, switching to Airplane mode and then turning the Airplane mode off, logging out and logging back in with my Apple ID, connecting the iPad to another Wifi etc. Nothing works and my payment method should be fine as well. I do not want to fix this by deleting the apps and installing them again, because I do not want to risk progress and purchases in one game (which I cannot play unless I update it). The game does not transfer purchases made with app-internal currency, only purchases made with actual money, so this problem cannot be solved by using another device.

I’ve deleted an app that was requesting an update and could not re-download. Still getting the same «Unable to process purchases» error. Very frustrating!
Feb 18, 2021 6:39 PM
In the evening, I turned on auto-update and rebooted the ipad. In the morning, the applications were updated.
Feb 19, 2021 12:10 AM
I had the same issue so I rebooted and went into my purchases tab and downloaded from there and it worked

Try rebooting your router and computer and see if that has any impact. Status pages look good right now.
Thanks, but is not a router problem.
Have same problem in office and at home.
Is Not a problem of pc because, I have installed iTunes 12.6.5.3 in 2 different pc with same error
This slow Apple agony is meaningless.
With iTunes 12.6.5.3 I can no longer update apps but download them yes
It’s been broken all week. So now I have over 100 apps that i need to individually delete, then re-download. It’s very messy. Apple should fix it. I applauded them for keeping 12.6.5.3 working, but when i went to update that posting to say 12.6.5.3 was working again, I couldn’t add anything.
Feb 11, 2021 6:35 PM
I have resolve in this way.

By the way new re-downloads are blocked now (the button is greyed out):
Feb 12, 2021 1:04 AM
I am having the same issue with iOS 10.3.3
Feb 12, 2021 2:36 PM
Me too. I had to erase all content on my iPad 4 with ios 10.33 because it’s so slow. Now I can’t re-download my apps that I paid for already. Note: this was my first iPad. I have 5 ipads now and latest iPad is ipad pro 2020 but I use them all for church music. Now I’m down to one because of this stupid error. FIX IT APPLE!
Feb 13, 2021 9:22 PM
It worked when I went to «purchased» section. Soooooo annoying.
Feb 13, 2021 9:28 PM
It’s still broken after all this time. The only work around I have is still a bit messy, and I’m worried that someday I erase the apps and i won’t be able to download the updates.
Here’s what «seems» to work for me thus far:
Run «Check for Updates», select all and then delete all from my library, but i usually «keep the files» and not fully delete completely. Then go run check for updates again, it should not show anything. Then i usually do «Check for available downloads» to see if there are any downloads, but it says none. THEN, I select the «Purchased» option under Account, and it eventually pulls all the apps that I just deleted earlier. I can click individually on every single one that is prompting to download, or if there are a lot of them, I usually can go to the bottom right corner where it says «Download All» to do most all of them together. I say «most all» because the automatic batch download stops if it hits an App that it can’t download (there are usually 3 for me: Apple Books, Apple Podcasts, and Find My Friends which can only be downloaded directly on each iPhone/iPad), then I have to select the rest of the Apps individually to download the rest of them. It’s messy, but it does seem to keep my library up-to-date and I can further update my iPhones/iPads from iTunes from there. Apple should fix all this for those of us loyal customers who own multiple iPhones/iPads and need to update them all together.

Helpful answers
Nevermind, I found the answer on another thread. This is definitely a bug for Apple to address. If I search, find the app and install, I get the error.
If I go to the «Purchased» tab on the App Store and find the app on that list, it installs with no problem.
Please fix this! In the meantime, I’ll use the workaround.

I have the same problem and none of the above steps were useful. Very frustrating.

I recently began experiencing the exact same error.
It is on my iPad 4 (running iOS 10.3.3). It began a week or two ago.
I noticed it because I frequently re-download the same app over and over. The PBS Kids Games app has been crashing regularly for about the last two or three months. It could be fixed, though, by deleting and reinstalling the app. All other apps worked fine.
This delete/reinstall process worked reliably until about a week or two ago. I deleted the app, went to reinstall it, and received this message. I noticed that it was posted on ALL apps that I tried to download to the iPad. (whether I already owned the app or not, and whether it was a free app or an app that cost money—same error message. Completely unable to use the App Store to download any app.)
In an attempt to troubleshoot, I reloaded the iPad. The message persisted, and because I just reloaded the iPad, I now have a stock iPad that I am unable to load ANY apps on, which is very frustrating. All stock apps other than App Store appear to work fine (Music, Safari, etc).
I put the iPad into DFU mode, downloaded a fresh image of iOS 10.3.3, and reloaded it through iTunes. No change in behavior.
I am able to download the same apps to my other newer iOS devices with no problem. My Apple account has a valid payment type attached to it (Paypal), which I use to pay for Apple Music and iCloud each month.
