Hi, right just reinstall 1.85, but it will not launch, all it dose is come will access denied and game has been installed in the frong folder? What the hell is a frong folder and way has the game been installed in it. I have attached screen shot of both messages.

So most likely what has happened is that you have installed the mod in the wrong folder. «Frong» is a typo for «wrong». If you look under the EA Games folder you will probably discover that the ROTR files have installed in the EA Games folder, rather than the Zero Hour folder. Re-install making sure that the mod installs in the «Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour» folder.
Basically the default installation path doesn’t always match the actual location of your Zero Hour files.

Thank you for that possible explanation, but it dose not fit the problem except for the «typo». I have all ready check the system and found it in the C: EA Games/ Zero Hour.
I also have tried making a new file in the c:/ programs 86, but still keeps coming up with the same message about the «Frong Folder».
So has any one else got any great ideas as I am running out of ideas?

Well I am now getting really feed up with this as I have uninstalled this and generals zero-hour, on multiple number of times. And I am still getting the same response from them game and the lack of support from the dev team is also really get me angry, as I have Not been able to play this game and I have two systems and I am unable to play on ether of the two systems as the same problem on both.
So if any one from the dev team is reading this please contact me with some sort of help.

Alright, lets do a little trick.
Please open the launcher and press «Ctrl + Alt + E». This is the exact folder where the launcher is located in. There has to be Zero Hour installed in (a «generals.exe» has to be here as well as other required ZH files like «Music.big» or «SpeechZH.big») and Rotr as well (well. if the launcher led you here, this point is probably correct. But look for something like a «!!Rotr_Patch.gib» too).

К сожалению не обошлось без проблем. А именно проблем с установкой. Так, некоторые пользователи отмечают достаточно частое возникновение ошибки с текстом “This folder is not empty. Please select an empty folder”, появляющееся во время установки или обновления Java.
В данной статье мы расскажем вам как установить/обновить Java, если в процессе возникает эта ошибка.
Чтобы разобраться в сути проблемы, достаточно перевести текст ошибки на русский язык. Так, перевод “This folder is not empty. Please select an empty folder” звучит следующим образом: Эта папка не пуста. Пожалуйста, выберите пустую папку.
Получается, что устанавливать java нужно в пустую папку. В вашем случае каталог, указанный после слов install to: не является пустым!

Что делать?
Решение очень простое. Нужно на диске C или в любом другом месте создать пустой каталог, например с именем Java, и в программе установки нажать на кнопку “Change..” (изменить), чтобы выбрать вновь созданную пустую папку. В нашем примере с именем Java.

После этого кнопка “Next” (далее) станет активной и процесс установки будет запущен.

Ошибка “This folder is not empty. Please select an empty folder”, из-за которой невозможно продолжить установку/обновление Java, появляется по причине наличия каких-либо файлов или папок в каталоге, выбранном для установки.
Установка актуальной версии Java
Решением проблемы является создание пустой папки с любым именем на диске C (или на любом другом локальном диске) и указанием в установщике этой самой папки, нажав кнопку “Change”.

Let’s take ‘Boris, king of the Slavic Block’ as an example in this guide. Since it starts with the ‘B’, it should appear in between ‘Additional Achievements’ and ‘Citadels don’t steal land’.
As you can see, it’s not there!
Firstly, install 7zip, which is a free file-(un)packer.
(Programs such as Winrar would also suffice, though I used 7zip)
If you do not know how to install 7zip, just google ‘How to install 7zip’ and you’ll probably get there.
This should be quite self-explantory
Browse to the game’s MODS-folder. It’s located in C:\Users\[USER]\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier’s Civilization 5\. (Double click to open a folder)
(NOTE: File path might differ between different OS’s or OS versions. I am using Win10)
A new window will pop up. Simply leave all the default settings and press ‘Ok’.
After a while this window will close and you’ll get back to the interface which shows all the directories.

If that is not the case, then this guide is useless for you and you can ignore it. I AM NOT able to help if this is the case!
(1). If you have just installed Civ, you first need to run it for it to be created
(2). Have you browsed correctly? Are you ENTIRELY sure you’re NOT in the INSTALLATION folder of Civ5?
First of all, this is not related to this guide, and it might be a problem with the mod itself.
However, are you sure you ENABLED the mod and did NOT press ‘back’ any time during the modding setup!
That might be an issue on the end of the modmaker, he might not have uploaded correctly!
Yes, any mod that suffers the problem of not unpacking will be appropriate for this guide
Steam User Mihajlo961x has confirmed this works for a program called Keka. I’ve never used this program myself so use at your own risk.
Old Answer:
I don’t own a mac myself, though you will probably need a Mac version of a program such as Winrar or 7zip. The interface will probably be different too, as well as the location of the MODS-folder, but the idea is probably still the same.
Sidenote: DLL mods (such as ‘The community Patch’) will NOT work on Macs (not sure about Linux). The boris mod used in this example will (probably) work on Macs though, since it does not use a custom DLL
My Linux knowledge is very, very, very limiited. But probably the same thing applies as in the ‘Will this also work on Mac’ paragraph above.

OK. I uninstalled NMM. Later I then reinstalled it. Now everytime i try to use NMM it tells me there is a mod missing. I’ll write out the pop up exactly. And describe what happens when I click yes, and what happens when I click no.
‘c\Games\Nexus Mod Mananger\Skyrim\Mods\Skyrim School of Witchcraft and Wizardry Fixed and Cleaned-22937-2-00.zip’ cannot be found.
This could be caused by setting the wrong ‘Mods» folder or an old config file being used.
If you haven’t deleted or moved any of your mods on your hard-drive and they’re still on your hard-drive somewhere then select YES and input the proper location of your Mods folder.
If you select NO Nexus Mod Manager will automatically uninstall the missing mod’s files.
NOTE: The mods folder is where NMM stores your archives, it is not the same location as your game’s mod folder.
When I click YES it takes me to the Games section of NMM. I have Morrowind and Skyrim. The other option is Rescan Installed Games. If i click Skyrim it takes me right back to the above pop up. If I click Rescan Installed Games then it scans my system for other Bethesda games. When the scan is complete it also takes me right back to the pop up.
If i click NO then it deletes the file and then takes me right back to the pop up. And the same file is still named. No matter what I do I go right back to the pop up.
I really need to get every last mod out of my hard-drive in a permanent fashion. THEN maybe that d****d pop up will go away.
So can you help or not?
PS When I say every last mod I’m not including DLC
