Проблема в программе Voicemeeter
Господа, помогите решить проблему с софтиной из сабжа. Есть микрофон Blue Snowball. Работает отлично, без проблем. Проверяю голос на записи с obs или стандартной утилитой вин10.
Значит, для улучшения качества звука с микрофона решил воспользоваться софтиной voicemeeter, по одному зарубежному гайду с ютуба. Скачал сперва программу VB-AUDIO Virtual Cable, затем сам VB-AUDIO VoiceMeeter. (Сразу скажу, что софт переустанавливал несколько раз). Затем заюзал настройки, что предлагал ютубер. Вышло как-то так.
Сама проблема заключается в том, что при записи звука с микрофона, любая софтина, будь то стандарт вин10 или обс, при воспроизведении выдает хорошее звучание, но вся запись постоянно прерывается, будто кто-то играет кнопкой вкл/выкл микрофона. (хотел скинуть пример, но вылетает ошибка при попытке прилепить файл)
Гугл и ютуб такой проблемы вообще не встречали, я так понимаю. Так что надеюсь на вашу помощь.
Попробуй выбрать в настройках MME вместо WDM. И пробуй увеличить задержку, как уже сказали.

Несмотря на наличие в треде решения, всё-таки задам вопрос.
Зачем в данной связке VB-AUDIO Virtual Cable? Я натыкался с ним на проблемы, связанные прерыванием звука, правда, на выводе звука с виртуального устройства параллельно на наушники. Поддержка Virtual Cable для винды явно не в приоритете, свежая версия от 2015 г.
Я не очень понял из видео, чего он добивается через Virtual Cable: виртуальные устройства для разделения звука в стрим и звука для твоих аудиоустройства есть и в Voicemeeter.
Voicemeeter может создать виртуальное устройство?

Voicemeeter is installed in your system disk: C:\Program Files (x86)\VB\Voicemeeter directory
While it’s virtual I/O are installed in system directory like other audio driver.
if you made a desinstallation without REBOOT, re-installing Voicemeeter could not work anymore.
If Voicemeeter Setup Program does not propose you to install, it’s because virtual audio device (or part of them) are still installed or not completely de-installed. You need to de-install Voicemeeter Virtual Audio Driver manually by the Windows Procedure:
(1)- Go in system / device manager
(2)- Find any reference to Voicemeeter Audio Device and click on it to de-install it.
(3)- Check first in Sound Vido Game controller section, then afer check in audio inputs and outpus section.
(4)- Reboot after each operation.
REM: Start by uninstalling multimedia drivers (not audio I/O)
When the multimedia driver is not present anymore,
You might uninstall remaining Voicemeeter audio i/o if any
Reboot and Repeat the operation until having no more Voicemeeter audio component on your system.
if Voicemeeter Installer cannot finish its process (installation should be done in less than 3 minutes)
you can go in Voicemeeter directory (C: \Program Files (x86)\ VB \ Voicemeeter) and
try to use VBCABLE_Setup programs to install or remove Voicemeeter virtual audio device (REBOOT after each operation).
if nothing works and you still can’t install Voicemeeter again
as last option, consider making a system roll back (sytem restore). from a recent point (some days)
(if your system restore is activated of course).
Cannot Re-install Voicemeeter?
K eep in mind: VOICEMEETER does not need to be removed from your computer in case of a problem. VOICEMEETER is a usual Windows application, endowed with an audio device driver. If you don’t use it, it will not affect your system nor causes problems.
There is also NO REASON to reset the Windows installation or create a restoration point. Basically, all is a question of the audio configuration in the Windows Control Panel / Sound Settings.
VOICEMEETER is installed on your system disk:
C:\Program Files (x86)\VB\Voicemeeter
Its virtual I/Os are installed in the system directory like any other audio driver.
Uninstall VOICEMEETER
Attention! After the deinstallation, you need to REBOOT Windows! Otherwise, a new VOICEMEETER installation will not work.
If the VOICEMEETER Setup Program does not allow the installation, the virtual audio device (or parts) are still installed or not completely de-installed.
In this case, you need to de-install the VOICEMEETER Virtual Audio Driver manually in the Windows Device Manager:
(1) Open the system / device manager
(2) Find any reference to the VOICEMEETER Audio Device and right click on it to de-install it.
(3) Check the Sound Video Game Controller section first, then the Audio Inputs and Outputs section.
(4) Reboot after each operation!
If the VOICEMEETER Setup program fails to complete its process (installation should take less than 3 minutes), you can go to the existing VOICEMEETER directory (C:Program Files (x86) VB Voicemeeter) and try to install or remove the VOICEMEETER virtual audio device using the VBCABLE_Setup programs – remember to REBOOT after each operation.
If nothing works and you still can’t install a new VOICEMEETER version, consider doing a system roll back (sytem restore) … from a recent point (some days ago).

The problem seems to come from the driver installation procedure not using the driver Hardware ID as unique identifier in the installation process, and consequently merge driver properties and pins with possible previous installed drivers (it seems USB devices are not impacted).
REPORT TO MICROSOFT

You may report the problem to microsoft: something like: «after WIN10 update sound is not stable anymore» or «impossible to select a given device [device name] » or «this device [device name] does not work anymore».
Then you can generate a PNP file (containing information on your installed devices) for Microsoft developer team and attach it to your e-mail.
1- run the command prompt in administrator mode.
2- type: pnputil.exe /export-pnpstate myfile.pnp /force (the export process can take a minute).
3- get back the pnp file (that should be created in the current directory) to attach it to your e-mail (might be zipped first)
After each WIN10 or WIN11 update, we recommend to check your windows audio configuration: what is your default playback device and what is your default recording device (and default communication devices too if needed) and if our audio devices have kept the same name and icon according driver name. With WIN10 April 2020 Update (version 2004) still bring potential problem in audio stack since it can re-install driver badly. The solution is to re-install our Voicemeeter and virtual audio cable as explaine below.
With WIN10 April 2018 Update comes new Windows options related to Microphones or any recording device:
Go to your Privacy Settings for Microphone (and camera) and switch the main switch to «on» if it is set to «off»
After WIN10 or Win11 update, if you get problem in the sound (stability problem) or you get strange behavior with audio application (bad audio, frozen app), or with device (the device cannot be selected anymore in Voicemeeter) we recommend to re-install Voicemeeter and our Virtual Cable by the following steps:
